FAQ
1. Can Eisch products be ordered directly from Eisch?

No! Eisch products can only be ordered at special retailers. Products can only be purchased directly at the Frauenau factory outlet (no dispatching!).

2. Where can Eisch products be purchased?

Eisch exclusively supplies glass-porcelain specialist retailers and high-quality department stores. Please use the Eisch distributor search engine under menu item "Eisch distributors".

3. Are Eisch glasses dishwasher-safe?

Eisch glasses are regularly tested for their suitability for use in dishwashers. In the current test, Eisch glasses are among the TOP 3 of the most renowned manufacturers on the German market.
However, some rules should be observed to keep the brilliance of crystal glasses for a long time: Please match the dosage of detergent to the hardness of the water. Incorrect dosing may lead to the formation of lime deposits on the glasses. If this has already happened, such deposits can be removed with citric acid (available from your drugstore). Crystal glasses should not be washed together with dirty pots and pans. Ideally they should be washed together with porcelain using the gentle washing program. When the washing program is finished, the door should be opened as soon as possible to let the steam escape, because otherwise such steam, as "distilled water" may loosen components of the glass surface and thereby cause damage. Glasses that are refined with gold or platinum applications, or with paintings, are not suitable for the dishwasher. Please note the corresponding information under menu item "Glass collection".

4. How should gold and platinum applications be treated?

Gold and platinum applications should only be cleaned with a soft cloth in warm water. A mild tableware detergent should be used for this, any contact with aggressive cleaning agents (e.g. also glass cleaners) or scouring powders must be avoided by all means. Glasses with gold and platinum applications must never be cleaned in the dishwasher. Any mechanical strain of the application, such as e.g. by "polishing", should be avoided, because this damages the surface.

5. Does Eisch produce lead crystal?

No! Eisch only melts high-quality leadfree crystal glass.
